The Story
The Hillgrove Creative Writing Club, having had several past iterations, caught new life when former student (and 2019 Georgia Poet Laureate) M. Sutherland approached Mr. Broome and expressed a desire to form a place for her fellow students to share their love of creative writing.
Since that first Spring semester, several Hillgrove students have collaborated, workshopped and shared their writing, culminating each year with the annual Talefeathers literary magazine, a collection of student-produced, student-edited poetry, fiction, and art (Thanks to the generous art students who donate pieces each year).
Meetings
Currently, the Club meets each Friday, 3:45pm to 5:00pm in Room 2206
